GRADUATE PROGRAM ON SOCIAL ANTHROPOLOGY
METU Graduate Program on Social Anthropology is offered by the METU Department of
Sociology, located in METU campus in Ankara, offers a hospitable and
resourceful intellectual environment for social anthropology students from
around the world. The language of instruction is in English. The program
requires students to carry out field research for their thesis work. The
faculty members work on politics, migration, gender, religion, and transnationality particularly in Europe and the

Application Period: The applications for the Spring
2008-2009 semester can be submitted to the METU Graduate School of Social
Sciences between 1 December 2008 and 30 December 2008. For detailed
